Model Rules & Expectations

Welcome to Egypt and to the Seemo Social family! We’re thrilled to have you here and want your experience to be fun, professional, and rewarding. To help you settle in and know what’s expected, please read through these key guidelines. They’re designed to keep everyone safe, respected, and successful.

Professional Conduct

  • Always be punctual, arriving 15 minutes early shows professionalism.

  • Respect everyone on set: clients, photographers, stylists, and fellow models.

  • Keep your phone on silent during jobs and castings.

  • No drugs or illegal substances, Egyptian law is strict, and violations will lead to immediate contract termination.

  • Stay positive and professional, avoid gossip, conflicts, or negative talk about clients or other models.

  • Seemo Social represents you exclusively during your contract period. You cannot take private or freelance jobs or contact clients directly.

Appearance & Presentation

As a model, your personal presentation is a key part of your work. Please maintain good personal hygiene and make sure you always look fresh and well-groomed for castings, shoots, and agency meetings.

For female models, the local market expects a clean, polished look. This includes:

  • Regular shaving of legs, underarms, and arms (very important for this market)

  • Clean and tidy manicure and pedicure

  • Natural, healthy-looking nails with no chipped polish

For male models, clients generally prefer:

  • A fresh shave, or a clean and properly trimmed beard (depending on the job)

  • Neat grooming before shoots and castings

General expectations for all models:

  • Always look your best for castings and shoots

  • Keep your measurements consistent (within 2 cm of your profile)

  • Any major change to your appearance—hair color, haircut, piercings, tattoos, etc.—must be approved by the agency in advance

On-Set & Work Behavior

  • A full-day shoot can last up to 16 hours, depending on the client’s needs.

  • If additional hours are requested, confirm with the agency before agreeing.

  • Handle small issues like food or timing directly with the client during a shoot — no need to message the agency mid-job.

  • You may participate in approved collaboration (TFP) shoots — but only with written permission from Seemo Social.

  • Always tag @seemosocial on your social media while under contract.

Transportation

SeemoSocial will arrange your transport to and from shoots.

During high season or when requested by your agency, models may be asked to book their own Uber rides to and from shoots.

If this happens, your booker will inform you the day before the shoot and share all details about your call time, location, and instructions.

When you are asked to book an Uber yourself, you will be fully reimbursed for the ride amount. Please refer to the “Refund Policy for Models” page of this guide for details on how to submit your refund.

Health & Safety

  • If you’re sick or injured, rest and recover within 3 days. If recovery takes longer, your contract period may extend accordingly.

  • Always stay hydrated, use sunscreen, and eat properly.

  • Egypt’s climate is hot and dry, keep water and light snacks with you.

  • Report any emergencies or incidents immediately to your agency coordinator.

Termination & Conduct Warnings

Your contract may be ended if you:

  • Work privately for another client or agency.

  • Repeatedly arrive late (3 times or more).

  • Fail to reply to your booker within appropriate time, resulting in losing a shooting opportunity. (2 times or more).

  • Refuse confirmed jobs or castings without a valid reason.

  • Damage property or bring unapproved guests or breaking house rules.

  • Use illegal substances or break local laws.

  • Post or say anything harmful about the agency, clients, or other models.

If termination occurs due to misconduct, deductions or penalties may apply.

  • All photos, videos, and campaigns you shoot while under Seemo Social belong to the agency and its clients.

  • The agency may publish or use these materials without further approval or compensation.

  • Please don’t repost campaign materials without checking with us first.

  • Always respond promptly to messages from your booker or agency.

  • Stay polite and cooperative even in stressful moments.
