Winters in Egypt

Contrary to what many people think, winters in Cairo can get quite cold and windy. Even though the city stays sunny almost all year, temperatures in winter can drop to around 8–10°C at night and feel colder because of the wind.

What to Pack

We strongly advise all models to bring:

• Warm sweaters and hoodies

• A winter jacket or coat

• Long pants, warm tops, and layers

• Warm pajamas and socks for the apartment

Apartments & Heating

Most apartments in Egypt do not come with built-in heating. This is common across the country.

• The agency provides warm winter blankets for all models.

• However, we strictly recommend bringing warm sleepwear and socks, as it can sometimes feel colder indoors than outside, especially early mornings and late nights.

• For safety reasons, the agency does not provide portable heaters, as they are considered a fire hazard.
